I'm FINALLY taking the plunge!

I'm sick of writing articles. I'm going to get back to blogging. After the first of the year, I'll be bringing back the blogs. I so miss blogging, but I don't have time to do it much because
I'm writing all the time for money.

I'm in a situation for the next 6 months where I don't really need a lot of money to live, so with the clients I have, I can make enough for everything I need and blog too. It's taken me a long time to get here, but the announcement that Yahoo is discontinuing the Featured Contributor program pushed me over the edge. I have no illusions about guaranteed income from that source anymore. Luckily, I have something to replace it, but I WANT TO BLOG!

Many of you know, I started out as a blogger with The Frugal Wench blog (which I may bring back) and then Green Lasagna, and finally Simply Deb. I really miss being able to write on all the topics in my blogs and actually help people instead of cranking out articles that no one sees.

I also miss my blogger friends, I mean REALLY miss them. I want to have time for TweetChats again, and meetups on G+. I want to go to blogger conventions. I want to learn about affiliates and get sponsors and all that exciting stuff that I can't do writing articles. I want to socialize with my mommy blogger friends. I miss them so much! I'd love to start an empty nester mommy blog one day, once I get all the others up and running again.

Of course, I'll have my gardening blog, and I'll always have that, because that WAS my first love. I still love gardening, but I'm not as much into it as I used to be due to physical problems and not really having a space I'm in total control of right now. Maybe once I get my little cottage in Gainesville, I will be more into it again. It's hard when you don't really own your space and can't do what you really want. But I still have knowledge to impart, so I'll continue to do that.

So if any of my blogger friends are reading this, hit me up for a guest post. I'd really love to help you out.

My new motto for 2013 is ONWARD AND UPWARD! It's going to be a great year, I can just feel it.
